Infrastructure and Equipment

The Industrial Engineering Department provides a physical space that encourages interaction and joint work, with technical and computational resources available.

Local computational equipment -available from the laboratory of the Master's Degree in Engineering Sciences, with a mention in Industrial Engineering- includes a cluster, PCs, and notebooks with specialized programs for optimization, simulation, and life cycle analysis for knowledge transfer to the industry and society in general.

The Program has access to notable equipment for research purposes, including the National Laboratory for High Performance Computing (NLHPC), which boasts one of the largest and most powerful clusters in the world, as well as a wide range of optimization and simulation programs.
